GHH Community Center

Our community center is dedicated to fostering the growth and development of youth in the South Ridge Heights area. Open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 7 pm, our center serves as a vibrant hub of support and enrichment for foster children in our community. We offer a range of programs and services, including camps, after-school activities, and personalized one-on-one coaching, tailored to meet the diverse needs of each child. Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where foster youth can thrive, discover their strengths, and build lasting connections with peers and mentors. Join us as we empower young lives and cultivate a brighter future for every child who walks through our doors.

Genesis Homestead

During their stay in the home, the young men receive weekly Life Skills training workshops, tutoring, and monthly meetings with a social worker to set their goals. All of these programs will help them be on their way to a successful future.

Genesis Redlands

Genesis Hopeful Haven provides housing to male 18+ year-old high school students as they age out of the foster care system. Our independent living program provides support and encouragement to help them achieve the skills they need to be self-sufficient.

Helens Home Cutler Bay

Our spacious and nurturing home for foster youth, where dreams are as big as our environment. Situated in a vibrant neighborhood where neighbors go to work and dreams are nurtured, our home offers a warm and inviting atmosphere where every child can thrive.

Princeton

Our home for girls who have aged out of foster care provides a nurturing and supportive environment for young women transitioning into adulthood. Located in a peaceful and secure neighborhood, our facility offers comfortable accommodations and essential amenities tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident. With a dedicated team of caregivers and counselors, we strive to empower these young women by providing life skills training, educational support, and emotional guidance. Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where they can build confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging as they navigate the challenges of transitioning into adulthood.

Naranja

Naranja boys’ home is a sanctuary for young men who have aged out of the foster care system. Nestled in a serene and secure environment, our home provides a loving, family-like atmosphere where every resident is valued and supported. With a focus on holistic care and individualized attention, we offer a wide range of services aimed at equipping our young men with the tools they need to thrive independently.

From life skills training and housing inspection assistance to tutoring, family mentoring, and employment readiness programs, we are dedicated to empowering our residents to lead fulfilling and self-sufficient lives. Regular house meetings foster a sense of community and accountability, while our comprehensive support network ensures that no need goes unmet.

Whether it’s emergency groceries, one-on-one coaching, driver’s education, or financial literacy workshops, we are here to provide whatever support is needed to help our young men succeed. Join us as we create a nurturing and empowering environment where every individual has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Palmetto Bay

We believe in providing more than just shelter; we offer a vision of possibility and hope. Our expansive environment serves as a symbol of the endless opportunities awaiting our youth. With aspirations of one day owning their own beautiful homes, our children are encouraged to dream big and reach for the stars.

At our home, we prioritize stability and security. Just as we wouldn’t settle for anything less than the best for ourselves, we ensure that our children are placed in environments where we would proudly call home. Through unwavering support, love, and guidance, we empower our youth to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams with confidence.

We provide a Life Skill Training Program for foster and homeless youth.  There are currently two programs:

After-school and an 8 week summer program.

According to studies by the American Youth Policy Forum these opportunities provide therapeutic healing and hope of a better life.

Employment Readiness

The boys in transitional housing are often in their senior year of high school.

The pressure of choosing a career path and having a steady income weighs heavily on their minds.

While staying at GHH, it is our goal to link our youth with a mentor to various professions firsthand.

Explorer Program

Created for foster children to gain new experiences through travel, forge new friendships, and grow their confidence by exploring this big, beautiful world.

One aspect of the program will be to participate in a travel workshop course. Topics include:

  • Learning about different climate and cultures

  • How to properly pack a suitcase

  • Applying for a passport

  • Navigating through airports & airplane safety
