Butterfly Program

Personalized Coaching for Independence

The transition from foster care to adulthood is a pivotal crossroad that requires more than just a place to stay — it requires a steady foundation. For youth ages 15–17, the Butterfly Program acts as a comprehensive support system, providing the one-on-one coaching necessary to navigate the complexities of aging out with confidence and clarity.

Through weekly meetings with a dedicated success coach, our teens move through a curriculum designed to mirror the guidance of a traditional family. We don’t just teach independence; we advocate for our youth in every arena of their lives.

Program Focus Areas:

  • Financial & Practical Literacy: Mastering adulting skills from financial literacy and budgeting to drivers education.
  • Educational Advocacy: Attending parent-teacher conferences and maintaining communication with school counselors to ensure graduation.
  • Milestone Inclusion: Ensuring no youth misses senior pictures, prom, or graduation activities.
  • Strategic Life Coaching: Weekly one-on-one sessions to set goals, solve problems, and build resilience for life after foster care.
