Birthday & Holiday Celebrations

For many children in the foster care system, significant milestones and holidays can be reminders of what they’ve lost rather than what they have. Genesis Hopeful Haven seeks to reclaim these moments, ensuring that every youth in our community feels seen, celebrated, and valued.

Our calendar is filled with intentional gatherings — from Valentine’s Day and Easter to Thanksgiving and Christmas — alongside bi-monthly birthday parties for foster youth of all ages.

Our Approach:

• Restoring Normalcy: Creating childhood magic through birthday parties and holiday traditions that foster youth might otherwise miss.
• A Sense of Belonging: Providing a consistent space where youth can gather, build friendships, and feel like part of a larger, supportive family.
• Service & Celebration: Youth participate in service projects alongside celebrations, building self-esteem and community connection simultaneously.

By celebrating life’s big and small moments, we build self-esteem and create lasting memories that remind our youth they are worthy of celebration and belong to a community that cares.
