Annual Inspections/Certification Includes:
A complete inspection ensuring that all required smoke detectors are present, have been inspected, and are in good working order
- Battery replacement
- Cleaning of detectors and surrounding areas
Button test to ensure effective operation - Replacement of any faulty and/or expired detectors, which is required 10 years from manufactured date
- Written certification that smoke detectors comply with current code provided to unit/tenant and property manager
- Notification given to property manager of annual inspection after initial service date

Service Fees Include:
- Certification/Servicing of all smoke detectors per property -$75
- Installation or Replacement – $15 AC/ $20 DCL per detector
- All smoke detectors installed and/or replaced guaranteed for 1 year
- Smoke Detector Man will provide customer with smoke detector testing certificate
- Installation of Carbon Monoxide Alarms – $40 (replacement required every 7 years)
